Xi Jinping has been elected President of China for the next five more years today. The People's Congress of China, considered to be a rubber stamp, cleared the deadline for President's tenure only a few days ago and approved to become a lifetime president.
Jinping was also elected the chief of China's powerful Central Military Commission, inside which Chinese army comes. On March 11, more than 2,900 MPs of the National People's Congress (NPC) voted for the constitutional amendment proposed by the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC) for the term of the two terms of President and vice-president.
