Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has accused CM Devendra Fadnavis of claiming progress to the people of the state and making false figures. He also sought the resignation of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, citing ethics in the PNB scam and said that the scam has led to a big question mark on the banking system of the country. Chavan said that Jaitley has not said a single word on PNB issue for four days, while Central Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Prakash Javdekar, who have no direct connection with banking, are defending the government. He accused Nirav Modi of helping the big people in this scam.
