Delhi Police is going to add 40 women to its Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team for the first time. This special commando team comes to combat terror detention campaigns and the ill-fated criminals. At present, there are about 200 men's team of commandos in this team. SWAT commandos are equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and security equipment and are ready to take action in minutes after the release of the warning. In the Capital, the SWAT team was formed in the year 2009 after 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
