- Turkish diplomat and politician Volkan Bozkir has been elected as the New President of the 75th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). He secured the 178 votes out of 193 through secret ballot voting. He will replace Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, who is the Current President of the UN General Assembly.
