- The 15th Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh launched the 'Ghar Ghar Nigrani' mobile app through video conference. It's a first-of-its-kind initiative, that aimed at checking the community spread of COVID. The 'Ghar Ghar Nigrani' mobile app is developed & designed by the state Health Department.
- Highlights,
- Under this initiative, the Punjab government will undertake house to house surveillance and covers the entire rural and urban population of the state.
- It will also cover above 30 years of age and will also cover persons below the age of 30 having co-morbidity or Influenza-like Illness and Severe Acute Respiratory Illness.
