India's Youngest MP, Chandrani Murmu At Just 25-year-old


  • Meet 25-year-old Chandrani Murmu (born on 16th June 1993) has become the youngest Member of Parliament (MP) to the 17th Lok Sabha.
  • She was elected as Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate from the tribal-dominated Keonjhar seat, district of Odisha state.
  • Odisha has a total of 7-Women MPs, making it the first state ever to have 33 percent or the largest share of Women MPs of its total of 21-seats.
