- Gujarat Born Justice Dhirubhai Naranbhai Patel (age 59 years) has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court.
- Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal administered the oath of office to Justice Patel at Raj Niwas, Delhi.
- Prior to this appointment, Justice Patel was appointed as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court (from 24th May to 6th June 2019).
