GST collection cross Rs 1,00,000 Crore in May month

The Goods and Service Tax (GST) revenue collection has crossed Rs 1,00,000 Crore in May month, which is a growth of 6.67% in the same month last year (2018).
The GST collected in April was Rs 1,00,289 crore as compared to over Rs 94,000 crore in the same period of last year (2018).
The total of Rs 72,45,000 GSTR-3B returns was filed in the May month.
