Former Congress MP Shantaram Naik Passes Away from Heart Attack


Former Goa Congress MP Shantaram Naik has died on Saturday. They have lost their lives due to a heart attack. 73-year-old Shantaram Naik was kept in Trimurti hospital after heart attack.

Naik has been a Rajya Sabha MP twice. With this, he recently led the Goa Congress. He started his political career in the year 1967, when he joined the Congress as a Congress worker. In July last year, Congress had appointed Shantaram Naik as Goa State President instead of Luizinho Falerio. In fact, Naik's term as Rajya Sabha MP is ending this month.
