In Delhi's Air, the Increased Risk of Pollution from the Rising Amount of Ozone


Increasing the amount of ozone in the air of Delhi is increasing the risk of pollution. According to the Center for Science and Environment (CSE), pollution conditions were found to be the most dangerous in the populated areas of Delhi's such as Patparganj, RK Puram, Nehru Nagar, Najafgarh and Sonia Vihar.

Ozone is quite harmful. It is very dangerous especially for patients suffering from respiratory diseases, asthma and lung problems. This study of CSE is based on the data received from 31 inspection centers done by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and according to the CSE report, during the February-May, ozone major pollutants were found at least 23 days and they were found to be dangerous.

This can lead to the risk of heart disease. According to the study of the Health Effect Institute, it was reported that there has been an increase of 148 percent in cases of death due to ozone in India.
