Strike of Farmers in 7 States, Vegetables Thrown on Roads

Farmers have started the agitation since June 1st in seven states, including Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. Farmers unions have called for a 10-day peasant movement against the central government for their demands.

In Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, farmers have announced to not send vegetables and milk out of the city. This movement of farmers is about the completion of the government's promise of paying minimum support price (MSP) as soon as possible.

With this movement of the farmers, people may have to face difficulties about everyday things. Last year, the farmers organizations had organized their agitation in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, in which five farmers were killed in the firing of the state police.
