Ajay Bhalla Assumes Charge As New Home Secretary

Ajay Kumar Bhalla takes charge as Officer on Special Duty to the Ministry of Home Affairs for a period of 2-years (till Aug-2021).
Currently, A 1984 batch IAS officer Mr. Bhalla is serving as Power Secretary.
In another appointment, Anshu Prakash appointed as new Secretary of Telecommunications, he replaced Aruna Sundararajan, who is superannuating on 31st July.
