Prithu Gupta becomes India's 64th Grandmaster at Age 15-Years

15-years-old Prithu Gupta becomes India’s 64th Grandmaster after defeating Lev Yankelevich in the 5th round of the Portuguese League 2019.
In 2018, Prithu Gupta had received his 1st Grandmaster title at the Gibraltar Masters.
Grandmaster (GM) is a title awarded to chess players by the World Chess Organization FIDE. Apart from World Champion, Grandmaster is the highest title.
The Federation Internationale des Echecs or World Chess Federation is an international organization.
