Pardeep Singh wins Gold Medal in Clean & Jerk Category in Commonwealth Championships

Pardeep Singh wins Gold Medal and set up a new record in Clean & Jerk category in the Commonwealth Championship in Apia (Samoa).
Pardeep (109 kg) set up a new record in the Clean & Jerk category by lifting 202 kg. His earlier successful attempt of 148 kg took his total to 350 kg.
2-time Commonwealth Games medalist Vikas Thakur (age 25 years) wins the Silver Medal in 96 kg category. He lifted a total of 338 kg.
