- ICSI introduced an initiative in the form of UDIN to improve the heightened sense of self-governance and strengthen the practicing side of company secretaries.
- Due to this, Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) will provide ease of maintaining a register of attestation and certification services.
- It will also help stakeholders and regulators to verify the genuinity of documents signed or certified by company secretaries in practice.
