- The Deputy Speaker of Goa Assembly Michael Lobo (age 43 years) resigned from the post. He submitted his resignation to Speaker Rajesh Patnekar (age 55 years).
- Apart from this, Chandrakant Kavlekar, Philip Nery Rodrigues, Atanasio Monserrate, who had quit the Congress and joined the BJP.
