- Indo-Bangla military exercise 'SAMPRITI' is important bilateral defense cooperation between the countries, which is alternately hosted by Indian and Bangladesh.
- The Chief of Bangladesh Army Staff is Lieutenant-General Shafiqur Rahman. And, the Chief of Indian Army Staff is General Manoj Mukund Naravane.
