Odisha government launched Virtual Police Station


  • Today, The Government of Odisha has launched a Virtual Police Station and it will function from the State Crime Records Bureau in Bhubaneswar.
  • Here, People can lodge complaints from their respective districts regarding the theft of their vehicles without visiting Police Station.
  • Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the facility along with road accident case documents module and medico-legal opinion system projects of Odisha Police.
  • These are the initiatives to effectively reduce the necessity of citizens to visit Police Stations. This facility will benefit the people for claiming insurance in motor vehicle theft cases.
