Odisha government launched Virtual Police Station

Today, The Government of Odisha has launched a Virtual Police Station and it will function from the State Crime Records Bureau in Bhubaneswar.
Here, People can lodge complaints from their respective districts regarding the theft of their vehicles without visiting Police Station.
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the facility along with road accident case documents module and medico-legal opinion system projects of Odisha Police.
These are the initiatives to effectively reduce the necessity of citizens to visit Police Stations. This facility will benefit the people for claiming insurance in motor vehicle theft cases.
