Janata Dal leader K. Amarnath Shetty passes away

Senior Janata Dal leader K. Amarnath Shetty passed away due to age-related ailments at a private hospital in Mangaluru, Karnataka. He was 80.
During Janata Dal government He had holds the ministry of Tourism and Religious.
He was elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Moodbidri constituency three times in 1983, 1987 and 1994.
