UP celebrated its 70th foundation day on 24th January

Today, The Uttar Pradesh state celebrated its 70th foundation day. It is the most populous state in India, divided into 18 divisions and 75 districts.
It was created on 1st April 1937 as the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh during British Rule and after that, it was renamed as Uttar Pradesh in 1950.
