Challa Sreenivasulu Setty becomes new Managing Director of SBI

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) led by PM Modi has appointed Mr. Challa Sreenivasulu Setty as the new Managing Director (MD) of the State Bank of India (SBI) for a period of 3-years.
While He is serving as the Deputy Managing Director of the State Bank of India.
The Current Chairman of SBI is Rajnish Kumar.
The number of employees in SBI is 2,57,252 (March 2019).
