Ladakh UT hosted first-ever Food Processing Summit

Today, Union Territory Ladakh hosted the first-ever Food Processing Summit. The objective of this summit to attract investors to the region.
The summit was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, and the Ladakh administration.
Ladakh UT has vast scope for investment in Food Processing Industries in horticulture products like Apricot, SeabuckThorn, Apple and Agricultural Products like Buckwheat and Barley.
