Himachal Pradesh made a new Guinness World Record by preparing 1995 kg Khichdi at Tattapani


  • Himachal Pradesh has made a new Guinness World Records by preparing the 1995 kg Khichdi on 14th January 2020 at Tattapani in Karsog, Mandi.
  • A group of 25 chefs from Holiday Home Hotel (Shimla), cooked 1995 kg Khichdi in a vessel weighing 270 kg, with the dimensions of 4-feet depth and 4-feet diameter, that was specially acquired from Jagadhari in Haryana.
  • The team of Chefs took 5-hours (04:00 to 09:00 A.M.) to prepare the Khichdi.
