- The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has re-appointed the Lt General Girish Kumar as the Surveyor General of India for a period of 1-year.
- Prior to this, Mr. Kumar was appointed as Surveyor General of India on 30th September 2017, under the Survey of India.
