- According to Resources, Wadhawan Global Capital (WGC) is the parent company of debt-laden Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL) and this deal is seen as a distress sale.
- Due to this, Sachin Bansal has entered the Insurance Sector, and it is also seen as part of his strategy to enter into the financial services industry.
