- In India, Every year on 12th January 'National Youth Day' or 'Yuva Diwas' is observed. This day is celebrated on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda.
- In the year of 1984, The Indian Government has declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.
