- Today, the 16th Chief Minister of Gujarat state Shri Vijay Rupani (age 63 years) has announced to set up the Vikram Sarabhai Children Innovation Center (VSCIC) to identify, nurture and promote children’s innovation in Gandhinagar (Capital of Gujarat).
- Children’s Innovation Festival - CIF has been organized by Gujarat University Start-ups and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC) - an incubation center set up by Gujarat University in partnership with UNICEF.
- CIF initiative was conceptualized to identify, nurture and support children’s innovations in the state.
