ISRO will set-up the Human Space Flight Center at Challakere

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will be built a Human Space Flight Center in the Challakere Village of Chitradurga district, Karnataka.
The main objective of this Center is to provide training astronauts within the country, which is currently being provided by Russia.
The Human Space Flight Center is a body under the ISRO to coordinate Indian Human Spaceflight Programme. The agency will be responsible for the implementation of the Gaganyaan project.
