- The 5th edition of the Asia Pacific Drosophila Research Conference (APDRC5) was held at Pune in Maharashtra. And, it was organized by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER).
- The conference is to be held from 6th to 10th January 2020.
- The objective of this conference is to promoting interaction between the Drosophila Researchers in the Asia-Pacific region.
- The last 4-editions of this conference were taken place in Taipei, Seoul, Beijing, and Osaka.
