Under CAA, UP becomes 1st state to shortlist Migrants for Citizenship

Under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Uttar Pradesh is all set to become the first Indian state to start the Exercise of Shortlisting Migrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
Under this process, It will also identify those who are living illegally in the Uttar Pradesh state.
