- IAS Officer Triloki Nath Chaturvedi, who had served as the 14th Governor of Karnataka from 2002-07 passed away at a private hospital in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He was 91 years.
- T. N. Chaturvedi served as of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India from 1984 to 1989. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 1991.
