Dr. S. C. Sharma appointed as first Chairman of National Medical Commission

The Central government appointed Dr. Suresh Chandra Sharma as the first Chairman of the National Medical Commission (NMC) for a period of three years.
Dr. Suresh is Professor and Head of ENT - Head and Neck Surgery Department at AIIMS Delhi.
Besides, Dr. R.K. Vats appointed as the Secretary-General of NMC, who has had been the Medical Council of India (MCI) Secretary-General.
