National War Memorial observed on 25th February

Today on 25th February 2020, the first anniversary of the Iconic National War Memorial celebrated across the country. This War Memorial had been a tribute to those fallen soldiers who made supreme sacrifices in the line of duty.
And, this monument 'National War Memorial' was inaugurated by PM Shri Narendra Modi on 25th February 2020.
The National War Memorial commemorates the soldiers who made supreme sacrifice during the Counter Insurgency Operations and Peace Keeping Missions.
More than 25,000 soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces have laid down their lives to defend the country's sovereignty and integrity.
