Sanjay Kothari appointed as new Central Vigilance Commissioner

The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) led by PM Modi has appointed Retired IAS officer Sanjay Kothari as the new Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC).
He is currently serving as a Secretary to the President.
In another appointment,
i) Bimal Julka becomes a new Chief Information Commissioner in the Central Information Commission.
ii) Suresh Patel as Vigilance Commissioner.
iii) Anita Pandove as Information Commissioner.
