Indian Scholar Gita Sen won 2020 Dan David Prize

Indian feminist scholar Gita Sen won the prestigious Dan David Prize for the year 2020.
She won the prize for her work in the fields of population policies, reproductive and sexual health, women’s rights, poverty, labor markets, etc.
She is a Professor & Director at the Ramalingaswami Centre on Equity & Social Determinants of Health, at the Public Health Foundation of India.
The Dan David Prize was founded in 2000 by Dan David Foundation. It carries three prizes of US$1 million each for outstanding achievement.
