Japanese Baseball player Katsuya Nomura passed away at 84


  • Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) Catcher and Manager Katsuya Nomura passed away due to heart failure on 11th February 2020. He was 84 years.
  • He was awarded the Pacific League MVP Award 5-times and became the first NPB batter to win the Triple Crown in 1965.
