- It is the first time, that Indore city of Madhya Pradesh will be selected to host the 21st edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA Awards).
- The announcement was declared by the IIFA committee in the presence of Bollywood actors Salman Khan & Jacqueline Fernandez and 18th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Kamal Nath.
- The 21st IIFA Awards will run from 27th to 29th March 2020.
