- The 12-years-old Mumbai girl Kaamya Karthikeyan became the youngest person to climb Mount Aconcagua (6962 meters) the highest peak in South America.
- Kaamya Karthikeyan is a class VII student at Navy Children School in Mumbai. She has also climbed the Mount Mentok Kangri II (6,260 meters) in Ladakh.
