Armand Duplantis Created New Pole Vault World Record Of 6.17 meters


  • Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis (age 20 years) created a new Pole Vault World Record with a jump of 20 feet 2 ¾ inches, or 6.17 meters.
  • Prior to this, French pole vaulter Renaud Lavillenie creates a record of 6.16m in February 2014 in Donetsk, Ukraine.
