- Indian para-athlete Deepa Malik (age 49 years) elected as the President of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI).
- She replaced Gursharan Singh, who is the acting interim president. She had also awarded the Padmashri Award in 2017 and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 2019.
