Indian Navy organized Coastal Security Exercise 'Matla Abhiyan' in Kolkata

Indian Navy organized a unique Coastal Security Exercise 'Matla Abhiyan' in Kolkata, West Bengal. The name of this exercise named after the Malta River.
The main objective of this exercise is to interact with coastal communities to spread awareness on coastal security and understand the navigational complexities in the Sunderban deltaic waters.
The Current, Chief of Naval Staff is Admiral Karambir Singh. And, the Navy day is observed on 4th December every year.
