Today, Port Blair celebrated the 76th Anniversary of First Flag Hoisting

Port Blair (Capital of Andaman & Nicobar Islands) organized a function to celebrated the 76th Anniversary of First Flag Hoisting by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
On the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Devendra Kumar Joshi along-with State Health Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey hoisted the National Flag at Flag Point in Port Blair.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had visited Port Blair during the last three days of December 1943.
