- The 18th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Kamal Nath inaugurated the 2nd edition of National Level Sports Meet for the students of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) at T.T. Nagar Stadium in Bhopal.
- The 5-day event has a participation of around 4,500 students of 284 Eklavya Schools representing 24 states of the country.
- About Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs):- It is one of the flagship interventions of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs introduced in the year 1997-98 to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in the remote tribal areas.
