- Panjab University Chandigarh has won the prestigious Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Trophy for the second time in a row. The award was presented by the President & Sports Minister through video conferencing on the occasion of National Sports Day.
1. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar - 1st runner up,
2. Punjabi University, Patiala - 2nd runner up.
