- Mr. Pavan Kapoor (IFS: 1990 batch officer) has assumed charge as the next Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
- Prior to taking up this assignment, He has served in different capacities in the Indian Missions in Moscow, Kyiv, London, and Geneva.
- Kapoor replaced Navdeep Suri as India's Ambassador to the UAE.
