Priyam Chatterjee- first Indian chef to get French honor


  • The French Government honored Priyam Chatterjee with 'Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mrite Agricoleto' for his contribution towards reinventing the gastronomic scene in India, He is the first Indian Chef to get this honor.
  • 31-years-old Priyam is best known for revisiting the traditional West Bengal dishes and giving it a French twist.
  • The Order of Agricultural Merit was established on 7th July 1883. It is an order of merit bestowed by the French Government for outstanding contributions to agriculture, agro-food industry, and gastronomy.
