- 26-years-old Sourabh Verma bagged the Men's Singles title at the Hyderabad Open Badminton Tournament. The tournament was held at GMC Balayogi SATS Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad from 6th to 11th August 2019.
- Indian badminton player- Sourabh Verma defeated Singapore player Loh Kean Yew 21-13, 14-21, 21-16 in finals to win the title.
- Prior to this, National champion Sourabh had won two Super-100 titles at the Dutch & Russian Open in 2018.
