Nobel Prize awardee Toni Morrison passes away at 88

American novelist and Nobel Prize awardee Toni Morrison passed away at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She was 88 years.
In 1993, She awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature and In 1987 She was honored with the Pulitzer Prize for her novel 'Beloved'.
In 1996, Morrison awarded the National Book Foundation's Medal of Distinguished Contribution to American Letters.
