- Indian cricketer Yalaka Venugopal Rao (age 37 years) take retirement from cricket. He is the right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler in the Indian Cricket Team.
- He represented India in 16 ODIs and 65 IPL matches and scored 7,081 runs out of which 17 century and 30 half-centuries.
- Rao played a large part of his cricket career for Andhra Pradesh and In 2005-06 he played for India for the first time.
