J. Dhankar Assume Charge As New Governor Of West Bengal

Mr. Jagdeep Dhankar (age 68 years) assumes charge as 28th Governor of West Bengal. Prior to this, he served as Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India.
He replaced Keshari Nath Tripathi (age 84 years), whose term end on 29th July 2019.
The Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan (age 60 years) administered her the oath at the Raj Bhawan.
